4. Immersion type cleaning line
Comprises a large tank filled with the degreasing agent.Workpieces are immersed in the solution for a certain period. The tank may have heating elements to maintain an optimal temperature for better degreasing performance. Agitation devices such as air spargers or mechanical stirrers are often installed to enhance the contact between the solution and the workpiece surface and to dislodge stubborn grease. b) Acid Pickling Tank: Made of acid - resistant materials such as rubber - lined steel or fiberglass - reinforced plastic.It contains an acid solution, usually hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, or phosphoric acid, depending on the material of the workpiece and the type of scale or oxide to be removed.The workpieces are immersed in the acid tank, and the acid reacts with the surface oxides, rust, or other contaminants to dissolve them. The tank is equipped with a ventilation system to remove the fumes generated during the pickling process.
