Cleanroom solutions

FAQ

Q: What is included in your Cleanroom Solutions package?

Our integrated cleanroom package covers three core systems: Cleanroom Panel, Cleanroom Door, Cleanroom Window, Cleanroom equipment. We supply the full envelope and equipment as one coordinated package, or individual systems to match your scope.

Q: What panel core materials do you supply for cleanroom walls and ceilings?

We supply PUR/PIR, rockwool, and EPS core insulated panels with pre-painted galvanized steel, stainless steel 304/316, or HPL facing. Panel thickness ranges from 50 mm to 200 mm. PUR/PIR panels are the most common choice for cold and clean environments; rockwool core is used where fire rating (up to 120 min) is required. All panels use cam-lock or tongue-and-groove connection for fast, sealed installation.

Q: How do you ensure panels meet GMP and ISO 14644 requirements?

Panels are manufactured with smooth, non-porous, anti-static surfaces that do not shed particles. Joints are sealed with silicone or PU sealant, and corners use radius (curved) profiles to eliminate dead corners. We provide factory test reports for surface resistance, core density, fire reaction (EN 13501 / ASTM E84), and air tightness. For pharma projects we also support IQ/OQ documentation.

Q: Which cleanroom door types do you offer, and how to choose?

We offer hermetic swing doors, sliding doors, high-speed roll-up doors, pass-through doors, fire-rated doors, interlocked doors, and lead-lined doors. Selection depends on the industry: hermetic swing doors are standard for pharma and hospital ISO/GMP zones; sliding doors suit large openings and logistics channels; high-speed doors are for high-traffic material flow; pass-through and interlocked doors are used in airlocks and buffer zones.

Q: Can cleanroom doors be customized for different industries?

Yes. The same door type is described differently by industry page: pharma doors emphasize GMP compliance, SS316, radius corners and CIP compatibility; hospital doors emphasize air tightness, foot/induction operation and easy cleaning; electronics doors emphasize ISO 14644 compliance, ESD safety and low particle generation. All doors can be supplied with vision windows, door closers, interlocks, and sensor options.

Q: Are your cleanroom windows flush-mounted and easy to clean?

Yes. All windows are double-glazed, flush-mounted on both sides with no exposed frame ledge, and sealed with silicone gasket. Frames are made of aluminum, SS304 or SS316. They are designed to avoid dust accumulation and to withstand regular disinfection in pharma, food and hospital cleanrooms.

Q: What is an FFU and why is it used in cleanrooms?

FFU (Fan Filter Unit) is a self-contained module combining a fan and a HEPA/ULPA filter. It supplies filtered air directly to the clean zone and is widely used in ISO Class 5每7 cleanrooms (electronics, semiconductor, biotech). FFUs offer flexible layout, lower installation cost than full AHU ductwork, and easy replacement. We supply standard 2℅4 ft, 4℅2 ft, and 4℅4 ft FFU sizes with EC fan, speed control, and low vibration.

Q: How do you control temperature, humidity and pressure in a cleanroom?

We design AHUs with cooling coil, heating coil, humidifier/dehumidifier, and HEPA terminal filters, combined with VFD fans and a BMS/PLC control system. Pressure cascade (positive or negative) is maintained by differential pressure sensors and motorized dampers. For humidity-sensitive industries (pharma, electronics), we use dedicated desiccant or condensation dehumidifiers to hold RH within ㊣5%.

Q: What filter grades do you supply, and how often should they be replaced?

We supply G4 pre-filters, F7/F8 medium filters, and H13/H14 HEPA or U15每U17 ULPA final filters. Replacement depends on pressure drop and particle count: pre-filters every 3每6 months, medium filters every 6每12 months, HEPA/ULPA every 2每5 years under normal conditions. We also provide DOP/PAO leak test and replacement service with certificate.

Q: Which cleanroom flooring options do you provide?

We supply epoxy self-leveling, conductive/epoxy ESD, vinyl sheet, PVC tile, and raised access flooring. Epoxy is preferred in pharma and food for seamless, chemical-resistant surfaces; ESD flooring (surface resistance 1,000,000每1,000,000,000次, per IEC 61340-5-1) is mandatory for electronics and semiconductor. All floors are installed with coved skirting to eliminate 90∼ corners.

Q: Why is air tightness critical in cleanrooms and cold storage?

Air leakage destroys pressure cascade, increases particle count, and in cold storage causes condensation, ice build-up and energy loss. We use continuous gaskets, inflatable seals for doors, PU sealant for panel joints, and compressed tape at connections. For cold storage and CA (controlled atmosphere) rooms we also provide air-tightness testing and certification.

Q: What lighting do you recommend for cleanrooms?

We use sealed, flush-mounted LED cleanroom luminaires with IP54每IP65, low glare (UGR<19), and CRI>80. Fixtures are designed without dust traps and can be installed flush in the ceiling grid. For explosive atmospheres (chemical/industrial) we supply ATEX/IECEx certified explosion-proof lighting.

Q: How do you ensure electrical safety and compliance?

All circuits are protected by ELCB/RCCB, MCB and surge protection. We use low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) cables, stainless or galvanized conduit, and provide single-line diagrams, cable schedules and test certificates. Panels comply with IEC 61439 and local wiring rules.

Q: Do you provide ESD control for electronics and semiconductor cleanrooms?

Yes. Static as low as 100 V can damage sensitive components. Our ESD system includes dissipative flooring (1,000,000每1,000,000,000次), copper-strip grounding and equipotential bonding, ionizing blowers, ESD doors/windows/panels, and real-time ESD monitoring for wrist straps, footwear and equipment grounding. All components comply with IEC 61340-5-1 / ANSI/ESD S20.20. ESD monitoring data can be integrated into our EMS platform.

Q: Can the cleanroom be monitored and controlled remotely?

Yes. Our BMS/PLC system monitors and controls AHU, FFU, lighting, differential pressure, temperature, humidity, and alarm status. It supports local HMI, web browser and mobile App access, with trend logging, alarm history, and audit trail. For pharma projects we provide user access levels, electronic signature, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant data handling.

Q: What types of pass boxes do you supply?

We supply static pass boxes, dynamic (air-shower) pass boxes with HEPA-blown air, and roller-type transfer systems. Standard models include mechanical or electronic interlock, UV lamp, and magnetic door seal. Stainless steel 304/316 construction is standard. Pass boxes are used between clean and less-clean zones to prevent cross-contamination.

Q: How does an air shower work and where is it installed?

An air shower uses HEPA-filtered high-velocity jets (20每25 m/s) to remove surface particles from personnel or goods before they enter the cleanroom. It is installed at the entrance of ISO Class 5每7 zones and includes interlocking doors, PVC/SS nozzles, and an automatic blow cycle (15每30 s). We also supply gowning rooms with sticky mats, benches, and garment cabinets.

Q: Are your cleanroom materials fire-rated?

Yes. We supply rockwool-core panels with fire resistance up to 120 min (EN 13501 / ASTM E119), fire-rated doors (up to 120 min), and fire dampers. Fire alarm, smoke detection, gas extinguishing (FM200/CO2) and emergency escape doors can be integrated. For chemical and battery cleanrooms we also provide explosion-proof and ATEX-compliant components.

Q: Which process utilities can you integrate into the cleanroom?

We integrate WFI/PS water loops, purified water, compressed air (oil-free, sterile), nitrogen/oxygen/gas lines, drainage (slope floor and trap), and vacuum systems. All piping is SS316L with orbital welding, passivation and validation support. Points of use include SS diaphragm valves, filters, and sterile couplings.

Q: What does your EMS monitor, and can it include ESD data?

Our EMS continuously monitors particle count, viable/non-viable particles, differential pressure, temperature, humidity, and airflow. It provides real-time dashboard, alarm, trending, and audit trail. For electronics and semiconductor cleanrooms, ESD monitoring data (wrist strap, footwear, grounding status) can be integrated into the same EMS platform, giving a unified compliance view under one system. We also support IQ/OQ/PQ, HEPA leak test, and recovery test documentation.
