1. Equipment composition

Shaft furnace and charging system, upper and lower launders, slag removal vessel, holding fumnace and hydraulic transmision mechanism, premixed combustion system and control, muti-stage high-pressure fan system, PLC control online automatic sampling, CO continuous type automatic detection system, electrical control system.

1.1. The shaft furnace charging system is controlled by an independent PLC, and the alarm device is installed on site. Two industrial CCTV cameras, one is installed above the charging inlet and the other is installed in the operating room of the casting machine, so that the operator can see the height of the material surface in the furnace in time. The charging hoist uses a frequency conversion program and has an emergency braking device, which can stop the operation in an emergency after a power failure.

1.2. The premixed combustion system achieves the best air/fuel ratio through automatic control. Two fast-response CO analyzers and an automatic air/fuel ratio control system are used to control the air/fuel ratio in all combustion zones of the shaft melting furnace, holding furnace and launder. Aprogrammable controller can automatically adjust the combustion ratio to maintain a specified range of CO content in each combustion zone.

1.3. Electrical control system realizes two-way date interchange of HMI and PLC by Ethernet (RJ45) communication mode and monitors and controls each part of system through the PLC program. The air supply of melting furnace is adjusted automatically by pressure sensor and the PLC program.The system realizes the function of automatic purging, ignition, reset, open valve, normal stop, air adjustment though the HMI. In the eventof a fault, the program automatically starts protections of air and gas shutdown according to the process flow to ensure the safety and normal running of the equipment.

2.3. Rapid start and stop of furnace. The melting time from cold state to melting is less than 2 hours; and quickly stop melting within about 3 minutes.
